At Sportradar, we are building a world class, cloud-native, low latency computer vision inference pipeline to bring computer vision workloads to production as one of the core technologies powering Sportradar's sports data collection.

We are looking for a back-end developer to join our computer vision and AI team, which is developing innovative computer vision systems as well as Sportradar's data lake and data analytics platform.

Sportradar is a global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data for hundreds of business customers around the world, in turn entertaining millions of sports enthusiasts.

THE CHALLENGE:
- Research, design, implementation, deployment and operation of systems for real-time, low latency computer vision processing hosted in AWS.
- resent technical architectures, ideas and solutions to fellow engineers in a clear and understandable way and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack.
- Support Sportradar’s future computer vision and machine learning initiatives working with a growing team of talented data scientists and data engineers already dedicated to this mission.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

- Advanced knowledge of programming in Python with demonstrable hands-on experience developing production grade solutions.
- Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Must be comfortable with modern software development methodologies such as agile development, git, CI/CD, code review, etc..
- Bonus: Experience with development in Golang and/or Java.
- Bonus: Demonstrated experience with productization of CV/ML models.
- Bonus: Understanding of machine learning / deep learning concepts and some hands-on experience with machine learning or computer vision using deep learning frameworks (e.g., Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, MXNet).
- Bonus: DevOps experience (hands-on experience with the design, set-up and administration of infrastructure) and with cloud services like AWS/Azure.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Engineering, Mathematics / Statistics, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Autonomous, rigorous, creative, and a team player
